Practice Owner & Dietitian

Getting support with eating can feel vulnerable and full of unknowns.

My approach is to meet you where you’re at, whether you’re at the beginning of your journey or have been on this path for some time. Together, we’ll collaborate on your goals in a judgement free space where you can feel comfortable showing up as you are. In our work, you can expect social justice–informed conversations that explore the intersecting factors shaping your relationship with food and your body, including systems of oppression, identity, and culture.

Nutrition for real life based in flexible eating and body trust.

Helping people move away from rigid ways of eating and toward flexible eating is deeply meaningful to me. I offer practical, compassionate strategies that fit into real life. Many of the people I work with are balancing busy schedules, work, school, athletics or are getting by with limited spoons. I find it rewarding to help build consistency around eating in ways that are realistic for each person.

I especially enjoy working with people across the full spectrum of eating disorder diagnoses, those seeking a non-diet approach to managing health conditions, individuals with ASD and ADHD, and people with PCOS. I also enjoy helping clients explore their relationship with movement and their bodies, which includes exploring movement avoidance, engaging with movement based in enjoyment and values rather than compensation, and eating adequately to support physical activity.

Outside of work, you can find me exploring national parks. Some of my favorites are Capitol Reef in Utah, the North Cascades in Washington, and Yosemite in California.

LET’S FIGURE OUT THE FOOD TOGETHER

Are you a dietitian looking to receive supervision?

My style is relaxed and informal as my hope is for you to feel comfortable exploring cases and questions in a supportive space. This work is *hard* and receiving supervision throughout my career has been an invaluable resource to better care for myself as a clinician and feel more confident navigating new and complex cases.

In working together, you can expect clarity on steps to take, curiosity for self-reflection, and plenty of validation and reassurance. We can explore various topics from incorporating body image work into nutrition therapy, case consultation, boundary setting, weight-inclusive MNT, and more.
