Will you help me lose weight?

The desire to lose weight in a world that praises thinness is real and valid. Our approach is weight-inclusive, which means we focus on improving your relationship with food, supporting your physical and mental health, and helping you find sustainable habits, regardless of your body size. We’re here to help you care for your body, not control it.

Do you take insurance?

Yes! We are in-network with the following insurances:

  • Kaiser (PPO plans only)
  • Moda

However, you are responsible for checking your own benefits so you can understand what’s covered and whether a co-pay applies. You can use these questions when contacting your insurance company to explore coverage for nutrition counseling. We have a billing specialist on our team - Stacy - who will handle your claims and communicate with you about payments and outstanding balances.

If we’re not in-network with your insurance, you may still be able to get reimbursed through out-of-network benefits. We’re happy to provide a superbill, but you’ll need to pay for services upfront.

Will I see my dietitian in-person or virtually?

Lydia is the only clinician that sees clients in-person in Portland, OR. Daniella offers sessions virtually for clients residing in Washington, Oregon, California, and Arizona.

How long will I work with a dietitian?

Everyone’s journey is different! Some of our clients meet with us for a few months, others meet with us for longer. Together, we’ll find a rhythm and timeline that supports your goals and health.

Will you give me a meal plan?

Not in the traditional sense. We may explore flexible structure or meal ideas together, but our focus is helping you build confidence in your food choices… not following strict rules.
