Supervision for Dietitians

What to Expect

My style is relaxed and informal as my hope is for you to feel comfortable showing up wherever you are on your current career path. After all, this space is for YOU! Frequency of meeting is up to you. There is no commitment to continue for any particular duration of time.

Receiving supervision and consultation has been invaluable for my growth and connection to others doing this work; not only in learning about nutrition therapy for folx with eating disorders, but also in learning how to support myself as a practitioner.

If you’re working towards your CEDS certification through IAEDP, I am an approved CEDS-S who can support you with this process to receive your required supervision hours.

Topics for Supervision

  • Case consultation
  • Incorporating body image work into nutrition therapy
  • Boundary setting and self-care for yourself as a provider
  • Further developing nutrition counseling skills
  • Business-related questions
  • Creating a weight-inclusive practice
  • Coordinating care with a multidisciplinary team
  • Workflow and time management

Cost

Different price points are available depending on what works best for you and your accessibility needs. No need to explain the reason, just let me know what price point is accessible to you.

Per IAEDP, supervision with 2 dietitian supervisees counts towards individual supervision hours, not group supervision. If you have a peer you’d be interested to do joint supervision with, this allows for a discounted rate per person.
